The Krutar Homestead is an unique opportunity to travel back in time without sacrificing today's amenities. This three bedroom, two bath, hand-hewn log home is located just off highway 200, 5 miles east of Ovando. This historic structure tastefully combines the original homestead house with another that was originally constructed nearby.
The Homestead is located on a ranch blessed with two spring creeks and four ponds that are the home for resident native trout, some up to 30 inches. While many guests combine the fishing of our private waters with that of nearby rivers and lakes, some join us to simply seek quiet solitude from today's hurried pace. The Homestead has been the site of family reunions as well as wedding parties.
Jon and Diane Krutar, along with their builder son Eric, are your hosts. The lodge is equipped with a full kitchen, living room with fire place and a view to take your breath away.
