Built in 1935, the Whitehead’s Cabin on Cooper Lake has been handed down to Karin from her parents. The Cooper Lake Lodge consists of 1700 square feet with two bedrooms which can sleep up to six people. It also features a full bath, a fireplace, a deck over-looking the lake’s water front and a dock with a canoe.
This very secluded piece of heaven is situated at the southern end of the Scapegoat and Bob Marshall Wilderness areas,11 miles north of the Blackfoot River and 13 miles outside of Ovando. The cabin is surrounded by lush and beautiful gardens and the deep, cool waters of Cooper Lake.
While staying at the Cooper Lake Lodge you have wildlife viewing, hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, and photography right outside your front door. And the one thing in abundance for you ---- is relaxation.
